Terms of service
Last updated: August 2, 2026 · Tombstone is a graduate project in a private beta.
Using Tombstone
Tombstone is offered for personal, non-commercial use during a private academic beta. Please don't try to break it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harm others. What counts as fair use, and what doesn't, is spelled out on the acceptable use policy page.
Deletion requests
Tombstone helps draft deletion letters. A letter cites a statute only where we can name the right one: the CCPA (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.105), the GDPR (Article 17), or India's DPDP Act (Section 12). Where the applicable law is unclear, the letter uses generic consumer-privacy wording and cites nothing rather than guessing. These are user-directed requests sent from your own email. Tombstone is not your attorney and the letters are not legal advice.
No warranty
We do our best, but Tombstone is provided as is, with no warranty. We make no guarantee that any given company will honor a deletion request.
Account termination
You can disconnect at any time from your Google account settings or by deleting your Tombstone account, which wipes your data from our database. See data deletion for the exact steps. We may suspend accounts that breach the acceptable use policy.
